My unique approach to dog training
At Kelton’s Doggy Trot, I believe every dog deserves the opportunity to live a calm, confident, and fulfilling life alongside their owner. My approach is built on understanding each dog’s individual temperament, behaviour, and learning style before creating a personalized training plan designed to produce reliable, lasting results. Whether you’re raising a new puppy or working through challenges such as reactivity, aggression, anxiety, leash pulling, poor recall, or everyday obedience, my goal is to help you build a stronger relationship with your dog through clear communication, consistency, and practical real-world training.
I completed over 240 hours of professional hands-on education through Arsenal Canine Academy and have earned multiple certifications through Shield K9. I remain committed to continually advancing my education, allowing me to provide thoughtful, effective training that reflects both proven principles and modern learning.
My goal extends far beyond teaching obedience. I strive to equip every owner with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to continue building on their dog’s success long after training has ended, creating lasting results that enhance everyday life together

Inspired by a life-changing journey
My journey into professional dog training began with a dog named Bruce. While volunteering at an animal shelter in Arizona, I met Bruce, a Pit Bull mix struggling with severe fear-based aggression who would lunge at and attempt to bite people out of fear. His behaviour wasn’t driven by dominance or defiance—it was driven by fear.
Through patience, education, and consistent training, Bruce’s transformation completely changed the way I understood dogs. Watching him gain confidence and learn to navigate the world more calmly inspired me to pursue professional dog training and ultimately led to the creation of Kelton’s Doggy Trot.
Today, that same passion drives everything I do. My goal is to help owners better understand their dogs, overcome behavioural challenges, strengthen their relationship, and create lasting results that allow both dog and owner to enjoy life together with confidence.

Building trust and lasting results
When you choose Kelton’s Doggy Trot, my goal is for you to feel confident knowing you’ve found a trainer who is genuinely invested in both you and your dog. I believe successful training is built on trust, clear communication, and a personalized approach that respects every dog’s individual needs while helping owners develop the knowledge and confidence to continue that success long after training has ended.
I am committed to continually expanding my education and refining my training methods to provide thoughtful, effective guidance that creates lasting, real-world results. Above all, I want every owner to leave with the confidence and reassurance that meaningful, lasting change is possible, no matter where their journey begins.
