About Kelton's Doggy Trot
Dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build trust, clarity, and lasting harmony in Airdrie, Calgary, and surrounding communities.

How Bruce changed everything
Kelton's Doggy Trot began from a deeply personal bond. When Bruce entered my life, he was dealing with intense fear-based aggression. Helping him navigate the world with real confidence wasn't a quick fix—it demanded patience, structured communication, and seeing the sensitive dog behind the reactions.
In many ways, we rescued each other. Bruce gave me a meaningful purpose and inspired me to dedicate my life to helping other owners experience the same breakthrough with their companions.

Training that empowers both dog and owner
My philosophy focuses on clear communication, healthy structure, and honouring each dog as an individual. Real progress happens when your dog learns with confidence and you gain practical, everyday handling skills.
Through programs like the signature Trained & Transferred, I work with your dog directly while conducting hands-on transfer sessions twice a week. We practise together so the new habits seamlessly transition into your family's daily home life.

Certified expertise and genuine guidance
Peace of mind comes from proven experience. My training background includes formal certifications through Shield K9, over 240 hours of intensive hands-on mentorship with Arsenal Canine Academy, and ongoing professional development.
Whether your dog needs puppy manners, loose-leash walking, or dedicated support for reactivity, we begin with a comprehensive assessment to ensure I am the right fit for your family's needs.
“Kelton’s training has changed my life with my dogs. With his methods and expertise it is now enjoyable to walk my two dogs with very little reactivity.”
